Petzie Playpen

Petzies are a classic pixel art basic created by Henna@Velvet Paws back in the early days of the Petz Community. I have always enjoyed creating custom petzies based on my favorite petz, and thought it would be fun to have a way to show them off that mimics a screenshot from the actual game. So, I created the Petzie Playpen - a customizable widget that generates a unique scene each time you refresh the page.

The Petzie Playpen kit includes the javascript code for generating the playscene, instructions for adding it to your site, as well as 40+ new petzie scale objects created by me to populate your playpens. All you need to do is add the petzies. Templates for creating your own custom petzies, as well as additional toyz and other petzie stuff can be found at Nightshade's Petz, Acid Trip, or the original Velvet Pawz (via the wayback machine).

I've intentionally kept the widget design simple so you can style it to match your own site. If you decide to use it, please include a link back to this page somewhere on the same page as the widget. You're also welcome to use the included graphics outside of the widget - just please give me credit for creating them and link back here when possible.
